DO-IT-YOURSELF 4 Plant XL 13 Gallon Fallponic System, NO PVC! NOT DRILLED!

This thing is great. I needed this as I was putting it into an ac infinity 5 x 5 that has the port hole in the middle. With a little ingenuity and planning, I was able to recreate the caterpillar as well as use a double sanitary tee to exit out the middle of the tent. The system went together easily, and there were no leaks from any of the ball cuts. I did have to add a few hose clamps to the waterfall outlets on each of the buckets as they were slightly leaking but other than that, no other issues. One thing worth mentioning is make sure you use enough force to press the PVC pipe into the bulkhead. It is a tight fit. As a sidenote, the whole saw cutter for the 8 inch net. Pat is no joke. It is the craziest thing I’ve ever used! I wanted something built with quality supplies and not break the bank. This setup rocks! Just want the videos before trying to assemble.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I purchased this kit because I have a 5 x 5 AC Infinity tent. The bottom port holes are in the middle of the tent, which is different than the gorilla grow tent. I needed a kit that I could put together and have the reservoir bucket piping exit the center port hole. I was able to achieve this with a two-way sanitary drain in between the two buckets closest to the porthole. Followed the instructional video to a T however made my own adjustments to fit the tent that I have. Instead of running the 9 inch PVC piping like Gary dozen his videos. I used 10 inch PVC pipe to connect the buckets that were facing closer together and 15 inch PVC pipes for the buckets when they were spaced further apart. This gave me roughly 40.5 inches between all buckets regardless of the size. This allowed me to run them a little bit further spaced out but still centered in the tent using the provided 400 gallon per hour pump is perfect for the set up. I have experienced no leaking issues no flow issues and everything seems to be running flawlessly. It does take a little time to put together but if you measure twice and cut once you’ll be good to go, this kid is amazing and certainly well worth the cost.

So, where do I start. I'd rate this system in the following categories: - Instructions: 5/5 - The youtube videos are clear as day. - Quality of product: 5/5 - Top notch. Buckets are oversized (good thing), pumps are active aqua (great brand). 3" return lines are fantastic, GPH flow is excellent. Only small gripe would have been the waste line at 10' wasn't long enough for the distance between my tent and drain, but easy enough to buy a 25' line. I knew that going in so I have no problems what-so-ever with the after-purchase mod. Love supporting local businesses and when the product quality is as high as this RDWC system is, it's an easy buy. For those of you growing in 5x5's like me, get the DIY version so you can add 3-4" of additional gap between the buckets, the extra space will pay off and allow your plants to be bushier without shading each other out while still giving you enough space to walk around the tent.

Everything comes in and is very well organized. Materials are high quality and you can tell Gary cares about his customers as he hand signed the invoice and writes some notes to help you out as well. Get a 8” hole saw, don’t use the death trap in his video lol. Either way, drilling large holes like this can get tricky when you have a lot of weight spinning on a drill, be careful… but rush, wear safety gear, lock your drill chick and get something to put in your bucket to protect it from a falling drill bit (if you happen to drill the lids on the buckets). I’ll be ordering more stuff, pa hydro simplifies the whole hydro experience by creating quality kits without any unnecessary “features” that simply add to cost. It may be a little cheaper as he mentions to put these parts together yourself, but really if you consider shipping costs and how many times you’re going to forget something and have to go here or there and waste your time this man really is doing the whole hydro community a solid by helping us get a quality setup going at a great price. 3” bulkheads used in this kit are the best you can find. I could go on… just get it if you’re on the fence.

I wanted to DIY but was a little overwhelmed at first trying to source everything I would need until I ran across a video on YouTube by PA Hydroponics, after watching the set up video and seeing the price of the DIY system they offer I decided to make the purchase. I have been nothing but happy with it so far! I’m only about a week into veg but I ran the system for about a week before putting the plants in and have noticed zero leaks and with the pump outside the reservoir I haven’t needed to get a water chiller. I couldn’t be happier!

System was quick to setup for me. Have had it up and running and approaching week 2 veg. So far love the rdwc system compared to dwc although getting great results with both. The recirculation makes managing ppm and ph a bit less of a headache though with this volume of water I am using a bit more nutrients and such but extremely satisfied and highly recommend this system...

While drilling was a PITA I still had the system up and running in less than 2 hours. The only slight drip(leak) I had was on the 3 inch elbow section where I guess I did not prime/cement enough, easily fixed. Moved from DWC to RDWC and love it! Circulating makes nut/PH control less of a PITA than my DWC system.

Great system was easy to drill and put together with the help of Gary's great video.

Awesome. I recently purchased the 4 plant diy fallponics system. It went together great and is working wonderfully. My girls love it. I watched the build videos with Gary and it was a snap. Worth every penny.
