DIY 4 Plant 5 Gal. Stirponic RDWC system parts kit(NO BUCKETS, NO CLAY ROCKS)

This is a great kit, but I would suggest getting the kit with the buckets I played heck looking for black buckets. But all in all great kit great price. Thanks PAH!

First I have to say, 5 stars for Gary's excellent customer service. He was very responsive to my questions via email and phone calls. I personally struggled getting this setup to not leak. I started with food grade buckets I painted on the outside, I drilled my holes 1 3/4 from bottom just to be safe, and I used an older 1 1/4 hole saw drill bit I had. I ultimately couldn't get the system to not leak with those buckets. Gary sent me new hoses, I bought 5 new buckets, a new 1 1/4 hole saw drill bit, and just to be extra safe I spent another $30 to buy 10 new bulkheads (same model) to go with the new hosing and buckets. I didn't want to mess around more and was concerned that maybe I messed up a couple of the gaskets on the original bulkheads. However, I still had some leaks with everything new. I eliminated all but one with hose clamps and the final one was still coming from the bulkhead. I deburred everything and verified very carefully all my holes were smooth, but still had a leak. Ultimately I ended up getting food grade silicone that I used for the inside connection of the bulkhead to the bucket and fingers crossed no leaks so far. I mentioned that for my first buckets I used an old hole saw drill bit that was labeled 1 1/4 because after I bought the new one I noticed I had a much tighter fit for my bulkheads, after putting the new hole saw bit into the old buckets I noticed they were almost 1/8in bigger. If you don't have a newer bit I would go spend the $10 or measure your old one just be safe. I would also not waste a ton of time chasing down leaks like I did and just have some food grade silicone on hand if you can't get things sealed up properly, and hose clamps. In the future I would never do this with buckets again after all the headaches I had. Hoping the silicone holds up for one grow of my winter veggies and next year I will be using totes or square buckets.

This was easy to put together..Thank you so much..I been running dwc bubble bucket and was having to lift plants with lid to change nutrients.. this is a game changer for me..I can walk in and check ppm and ph without having lift all those lids with plants..anyone doing dwc this is the way to go..Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions in emails

This kit is a no brainer. Gary thought of everything. I did't need the buckets or the clay rocks so I purchased without. This kit includes EVERYTHING you need and PAH cuts all the tubing even the little piece that connects the water level indicator tube. Perfect! And Gary's YouTube videos are great. Thank you Gary and the PAH team.

This has been an amazing setup for me! I love it and will use it for years. My plant growth has exploded during this 1st run compared to past grows in regular bubble buckets. I did custom extend my resevoir outside of my tent and so glad I did! Gary your amazing, keep up all your great work and top notch customer service!!!

Great DYI kit shipping was fast. Easy to put together after watching YouTube video instructions and Gary was a pleasure to deal with These Guys Rock
